INGREDIENTS:-
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp coconut cream
- 3 tbsp plant-based milk
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp coconut sugar or maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS:-
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Add the coconut cream, sweetener, milk and vinegar. Stir until well-combined.
- Add water in parts and start kneading the dough until soft and smooth. If the dough remains sticky, add a little more flour.
- Continue to knead for 10-12 minutes or until it become elastic-like and stretchable.
- Rub the ball of dough with oil and cover the bowl with a muslin cloth. Let it sit for about 1 hour.
- Press the dough lightly to remove the air and divide into 2 equal portions.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into 8 inch discs. Prick each circle evenly using a fork.
- Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet, and assemble your desired pizza topping.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees C for about 15 minutes. (Note : the mentioned baking time is an estimate and will vary depending on the kind of toppings used.)
